It was an honor to work with one of my favorite artists in the last decade. Skyzoo has been, and continues to be an inspiration to me as an artist.

Growing up I had crooked teeth. My mother couldn't afford braces, so I was left to deal with it as a stand out feature for many years. I've always wanted to talk about it, but never did....until Clint sent me this amazing soundscape!!

At 25 I got braces and in my mind the very next step was being famous
The glory of the moment left the old me ancient
So ready to flex that I forgot it wasn’t painless
To have a stand out feature round black folk is a joke
You get a automatic nickname to add along the pain
Sometimes they be endearing like Man Man or Fat Fat
You get older and skinny it’s a fact that people laugh at
Other times the added adjective describe a athlete
Like tall Mike that be dunkin’ on niggas with acne
But at least Mike could hoop that ain’t bad as ashy Kathy
Or in my case it was Mark with crooked ass teeth lucky for me
When Hip Hop became the proud new fixture
It was perfect nigga I ain’t have to smile in the pictures
But to smile is to let the soul take a break from pain and who do not deserve that
We should all be ashamed
